Hospital admissions have increased by 199 as the country recorded 3 648 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. A

In additional 173 deaths have been reported, taking the death toll to 85 952. The majority of new cases were from the Western Cape, with 21%, followed by KwaZulu-Natal and then the Eastern Cape. The recovery rate stands at 94.4%. So far, almost 16-million vaccines have been administered.
