SHOP TILL YOU DROP with Smile 90.4FM and Tygervalley Centre
Smile 90.4FM and Tygervalley Centre are giving away R118 900 worth of shopping vouchers and one extra-large Shop Till You Drop experience to the tune of R90 400!
How it Works
The competition runs on-air on Smile 90.4FM, weekdays from Monday 30 July to Friday 17 August. There is a chance to WIN a R500 Tygervalley Centre shopping voucher PLUS entry into the final draw for the R90 400 Shop Till You Drop experience, in every daytime show:
- Smile Breakfast from 6am to 9am
- Eloise Pretorius from 9am to 12pm
- Ewan Strydom from 12pm to 3pm
- Smile Drive from 3pm to 6pm
Once in every show the presenter will read out the names of three people who have entered the competition – 2 x SMS entries + 1 x Tygervalley Centre entry – and ask them to call the studio on 0861 400 904 as quickly as possible. The first of the three people to call in wins the R500 Tygervalley Centre voucher and receives entry into the draw for the R90 400 Shop Till You Drop experience.
How to Enter
Listeners can enter via SMS, by sending ‘SHOP’ plus their name, surname and ID number to 45729. SMS’s are charged at R1.50.
Tygervalley Centre shoppers can enter by writing ‘Smile 90.4FM’ plus their name, surname, telephone number and ID number on a Tygervalley Centre till slip and dropping it into the entry boxes at Tygervalley Centre.
Final Draw
On Friday 17 August on Smile Breakfast, the final R500 Tygervalley shopping voucher will be awarded; after which the final draw will take place live on air to find out which of the 57 finalists wins the R90 400 Shop Till You Drop experience at Tygervalley Centre.
Shop Till You Drop Day
On Saturday 18 August the grand prize winner of the R90 400 Shop Till You Drop experience and a partner will meet Smile Breakfast’s Bobby and Lindy for breakfast at Tygervalley Centre. At 09:00 they will go off to spend the R90 400, in only 9 minutes and 4 seconds, with Bobby and Lindy in tow to help carry their bags, direct them and assist them to Shop Till They Drop.

- Vouchers, valued at R500, are valid for the period stated thereon. In each case, if your Voucher has not been used within that period, it will expire.
- Vouchers cannot be used to buy other Vouchers, Coupons or settle accounts. They do not accrue interest and are not refundable for cash. If your Voucher value is insufficient for the item you wish to purchase, you may make up the difference by paying via another payment method.
- The Voucher, valued at R90 400, is valid for the 9 minutes and 4 seconds on the 18 August at the Grand Finale at Tygervalley. If the R90 400 Voucher has not been used in totality within 9 minutes and 4 seconds, the balance remaining on the voucher will be forfeited.

The University of Stellenbosch means business
The University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB) has been ranked as the top excellent business school in South Africa by Eduniversal, an international education rating agency with headquarters in Paris. The ranking is the result of voting by deans of business schools around the world, based on a list of criteria.
This annual ranking is divided into two categories: the top 1000 global business school in 154 countries, and the top 4000 Masters and MBA programmes. These rankings are designed to provide information to prospective students that will help them in their search for the best postgraduate programmes.
Commenting on this achievement, USB Director Prof Piet Naudé said: “One of the best indicators of reputation, is the view held by peers. At USB we have worked very hard at building our international profile. This Eduniversal vote of confidence from fellow Business School Directors and Deans from literally around the world, signals that we are realising our vision of being an African business school with an excellent global reputation.”
USB’s Full-time MBA was also highly placed in Eduniversal’s top Masters ranking of 2018, being ranked in the top two Full-time MBA programmes in South Africa.
Two of USB’s other postgraduate programmes also featured in Eduniversal’s top Masters ranking. USB’s MPhil in Management Coaching was ranked number one in Africa in the Human Resources Management category while the Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership Development was ranked 13th globally in the Leadership category.
