Help prevent spread of covid-19 at old-age homes

The Western Cape Department of Social Development has called on those who visit old-age homes, to continue adhering to the set covid-19 health and safety regulations.

MEC Sharna Frenandez says this will play an important role in preventing the spread of the virus among the elderly.

Fernandez says preventing the spread of the virus at these care-facilities, plays a key role in keeping the elderly safe.

Fernandez says the current number of positive cases in older persons facilities are currently at 20 active cases in the Western Cape.
