HEARTWARMING MOMENT AS COVID-19 PATIENT IS DISCHARGED

Published on

It’s not everyday that we see and hear about stories of recovery, but the Mediclinic Durbanville team shared one of those moments over the weekend as they bid farewell to Mr K Horton, who is the first patient to recover from COVID-19 at this facility after being ventilated.

Mr Horton wrote; “It was a total surprise and very emotional but I am thankful to be home. Once again thanks to all the staff and doctors for the wonderful care you have provided for me.”

The Western Cape has seen nearly 2000 recoveries.
