The Department of Health says it aims to vaccinate at least 40-million South Africans, in the next few months, to achieve herd-immunity.
Deputy director-general at the Department, Dr. Nicholas Crisp says the aim is to vaccinate as many adults as possible, before the end of December.
Crisp says 5-million South Africans have, to date, been fully vaccinated.
