Makhura, last night, said in light of rising new cases and dwindling bed capacity, the province might have no choice but to tighten restrictions. This as the province moves towards an expected Covid-19 third wave peak in 2 weeks. He was at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, where he has welcomed a contingent from the South African National Defence Force’s Military Health Services, which will assist with Covid-19 medical support.
