Organisers have asked visitors to dress in red, white, and blue and to immerse themselves in the atmosphere and entertainment on both days. Across the village, guests can enjoy an expanded food offering from local chefs and festival favourites along the Food Fair Walk on Church Street.

Iconic Bastille once again offers its signature wine and cheese tastings.

There’s also a bustling market, roaming performers, live entertainment, and themed activations that bring the spirit of Franschhoek Celebrates Bastille to life. The Franschhoek Bastille Festival remains one of South Africa’s most cherished winter events-celebrating culture, connection, and the enduring charm of the valley.
