Four diesel thieves caught red-handed

Four suspects were arrested in Parow earlier this morning after they were caught siphoning diesel from a parked truck.

Members of the City’s Directorate of Safety and Security arrested the men, just after 4 AM.

Mayoral Committee member at the Directorate, JP Smith says the truck driver was asleep at the time of the incident.

Smith says the suspects had managed to drain almost 125 litres of diesel before they were caught.
