Cape Town International Airport was a hive of activity today as the first two international flights, under level one of lockdown, touched down in the Mother City.
The flights, by Emirates and Ethiopia Airlines , were the first to arrive here since the national lockdown was implemented in March this year.
Government yesterday announced strict measures for people to travel to South Africa from overseas countries, under level 1 of the lockdown.
A list of countries, of which its citizens will not be allowed to travel to South Africa, because of high covid-19 infection & death rates, was also released.
Senior Manager Corporate Affairs at Cape Town International Airport, Deidre Davids, says everyone was in high spirits today.
