Minister Joe Phaahla says upgrades to the EVDS-platform now allows people to now choose when and where to get their injection.
The minister says he hopes the changes, made to the Electronic Vaccination Data System, will encourage more South Africans to register for and receive their covid-19-injection.
South Africans can now also schedule their appointments, instead of waiting to be assigned a vaccination-slot.
