Eskom condemns attack on employees at Klipspruit Customer Network Centre

Power utility Eskom has condemned the attack on 7 of its security personnel in Soweto last week.

One security officer was killed while 6 others escaped the attack unharmed.

It is alleged that approximately 30 heavily armed suspects shot at employees at the Klipspruit Customer Network Centre in Soweto.

The suspects were reportedly planning to steal copper wiring from the site.
