The City informs residents and road users that partial road closures in the Elsies Industria area are expected due to a road resurfacing project. The work will be active from this evening and the 11th of August – with work taking place from Monday to Sunday between 6 PM and 7.30 AM. Mayco Member for Urban Mobility Rob Quintas says residents in surrounding areas can expect a level of noise pollution during this time:

The road sections to be resurfaced:

• Botha Street from Voortrekker Road to End Street
• De Wet Street from Voortrekker Road to End Street
• Malherbe Street from Cloete Street to End Street
• Socony Road from De Wet Street to Malherbe Street
• Stark Street from Jagger Road to End Street
• Tygerberg Road from Jagger Road to End Street
• Zelda Road from Jagger Road to Socony Road
