Easter is a great opportunity for you start expressing your creativity. I know that we sometimes have the desire to spoil or treat our guests but we don’t always know how to make a treat special. With these Easter gifts ideas I hope to help you on you conquest.

2022 is the year we’re gonna turn a morning Easter gathering on it’s head, Funny Bunny.

Steal the look

Easter basket

I can teach my child

I can teach my child  introduced me to this idea and I think it’s absolutely brilliant for an Easter gift. This versatile basket can be a family project, so get all the children involved.

What you need:
  • Scissors
  • Scrap fabric cut into 2-5cm
  • A balloon
  • Glue
  • Hole punch
  • Wired ribbon

This will make a great time consuming project and can even be used as decorations throughout the weekend.

Maybe I’m just keen on becoming a mom sooner than later but this seems like so much fun. Either way if you have some extra time and cash on hand this will be so beautiful on a kiddies table and keep them occupied while the grown-ups sip on some refreshments.

A game to play, because adults also need entertainment

A Left/Right Story

I stumbled upon this game on Hello Giggles and it has the potential to be so entertaining.

Let this game be the Easter gift for the adults attending.

As kids we used to play this game but that doesn’t mean it has to be limited to people under a certain age. The rules are that someone brings a prize and wraps it in wrapping paper. Now as everyone is seated we can start writing our own story. Each guest will add one sentence to the story. The sneaky guests will manipulate the story to ensure that the best gifts land on their lap.  When the storyteller says “left” or “right,” that’s the direction the gift gets passed… and at the end of the story, whoever’s holding the gift gets to keep it. Suspense, prizes, tons of laughs—sounds amazing, right? If you’re not feeling creative enough to write your own story, Party Games Now has a printable one ready for you.

Easter themed gatherings and decor

This is one of those, “why did I not think of this” moments. Isn’t this just the cutest decoration you’ve ever seen?

You can fill those dried eggshells with anything! If you wash them properly before drying them in the sun you can even use them to serve snacks. I love it! Some people even fill them with candle wax to DIY some pretty looking candles.

Snack attack

Listen I’m not saying your guests are all rabbits but it’s Easter and we are trying to be creative here, hence a makeshift carrot.

This so simple yet so effective. Feel free to fill the bag with anything orange (even real carrots if you’re a healthy freak).

Bunny bag

Man, people are creative. This is so simple yet I couldn’t think of the idea myself. This just shows you that an Easter gift doesn’t not need to cost you hundreds of rands. Anything wrapped like a cute bunny is special even if you will the bag with only love and air, I’d still appreciate the gesture and efforts.

What you need:

  1. Paper bags
  2. Ribbon or rope
  3. Scissors
  4. Cotton wool
