The Department of Health says the country’s electronic vaccination delivery system (EVDS) has been further bolstered, over the past few weeks, to ensure the successful roll-out of the Covid-19 vaccines.

Deputy-director-general of health, Dr Anban Pillay says the system monitors the nation-wide progress of the campaign, while it also tracks and monitors the storage & transport of vaccine doses.

Pillay says the system is used on national and provincial level to ensure the proper distribution of the vaccine.
