Deer Park reopens

Published on

Table Mountain National Park has announced that Deer Park has now reopened to the public.

The park was closed for around 4 months after the devastating fire in April.

More than 650 hectares of land were damaged in the blaze.

Areas around the Rhodes Memorial, however, remain closed.

Table Mountain National Park says fuel reduction, wood collection and road maintenance in and around Deer Park will continue for the next 6 to 8 weeks.
