DBE: Kids will not be vaccinated at schools

Published on

The Department of Basic Education has again assured parents that their kids would not be vaccinated against Covid-19 on school premises.

Deputy Director General for Planning at the DBE, Simone Geyer says the vaccination of those, aged 12 to 17, would only take place at vaccination clinics.

Geyer says the vaccination clinics will be managed by the national Department of Health.

She says the decision, for kids to get vaccinated, should be jointly made by both parents and their children.
