CTICC Vaccination Site closes

The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) Vaccination Site is closing its doors on Friday 3 December. At last count, more than 136 000 people received their Covid-19 jab at the CTICC since they opened five months ago.

This was a public-private partnership between the Western Cape Department of Health and the Discovery Health Group. The Vaccination Site was one of the biggest mass vaccination sites in the country when it opened its doors.

The Western Cape Department of Health’s Dr Saadiq Karriem says closing this Vaccination Centre is not the end of the road of the work that was started there:
