More than 110-thousand Western Cape residents – aged over 60 – have already been vaccinated against Covid-19.
Premier Alan Winde says there has been a marked increase in the number of people, in this age group, who have registered and reported for their vaccination.
He says more than 20-thousand pensioners and employees in old-age homes and care-centres have also been vaccinated.
