City Health to acquire additional backup generators to protect healthcare facilities from loadshedding

The City’s Directorate of Health says plans are in place to acquire additional backup generators to better equip and protect healthcare facilities from the negative impacts of loadshedding.

Mayoral committee member Patricia van der Ross says power cuts, at clinics and other healthcare facilities, not only affect direct service delivery to patients but also impact the storage of medicines.
