On Saturday, a peaceful protest is scheduled in the morning, while a finger print drive will be held in the afternoon. The forum’s deputy chair Nicole Jacobus explains what this will entail:

“Parents can bring their kids to be fingerprinted, and fill in a form which they will get to keep on a safe place. In the event their child goes missing, they will be able to take that form with them to the police station and open a case of a missing persons report,” detailed Jacobus.

The CPF is calling on parents to join the drive.

“Join us and bring your placard with you as we have a silent protest, to assure children that they are protected and so that they know who to report any sort of abuse to.
