Cape Town’s Least Romantic Person Revealed

Published on

Smile Breakfast is on the hunt for Cape Town’s least romantic person. With Valentine’s Day around the corner we’re hoping to help reignite the spark in someone’s relationship. After meeting our three finalists, this is how Cape Town voted:

Finalist 1 (WINNER) – Jan Pretorius – Officially Cape Town’s least romantic person

For their Valentine’s evening Jan and Karen are going the oldest wine farm in South Africa. Where you will find the most romantic setting that anyone has to offer, soaking up the views of the mountain and surrounds. The restaurant they’ll be dining at celebrates the richness of the Cape Winelands by transforming the freshest ingredients into memorable, delicious meals. Simon’s Restaurant at Groot Constantia – where memories are made.

If you missed Jan on Smile Breakfast, as well as our other finalists, you can catch up with them below.

Jan and Karen Pretorius have known each other for 41 years and throughout their relationship, Karen says Jan has never really subscribed to the conventions of romance:
