For two decades, the Cape Town International Hockey Tournament has been the stage where school hockey excellence comes to life.
From 22 July 2026, some of the finest young hockey talent from South Africa and around the world will gather in Cape Town for the 20th edition of this prestigious tournament.
Established in 2003, the Cape Town International Hockey Tournament has grown into South Africa’s premier school hockey event, welcoming elite local, regional, and international teams to compete at the highest level of school hockey.
Hosted primarily at Hartleyvale Stadium, with matches taking place across several leading Cape Town venues, the tournament offers players the opportunity to compete under international hockey standards while showcasing their skills on a global stage.
The competition features two divisions:
• Elite – for the top-performing school teams
• Evolve – creating a pathway for developing talent
