Cape Town boasts another private higher education institution. STADIO has this week officially opened its new campus in the Northern suburbs, in Durbanville, near the Curro-Durbanville School.

Cape Town boasts another private higher education institution
The newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of STADIO Higher Education, Dr Stan du Plessis, says their broader mission is to “serve the nation” by widening access to tertiary education and aligning studies to employability. He says they are also not pricing for the elite end of the market.

The campus will welcome its first cohort of students in February 2026, and there’s an Open Day this weekend (Saturday), for people to visit the campus and find out more about classes. At the same time, you will also be able to register for next year.
