  The Western Cape (WC) Mobility Department has urged residents to be aware of fraudulent activities which scam people into paying fees to attend the provincial Gene Louw Traffic Training College.   According to the department, a fraud case was opened after several people fell victim to the scam towards the end of last year and at the start of the year believing they had secured training opportunities at the college.   WC Mobility MEC

  Only 61.6% of the 1.2 million full-time learners who enrolled in Grade 1 in 2013, wrote the final matric exams last year, according to the Education Department’s Director-General, Mathanzima Mweli. This means that over half a million learners did not write the exams in 2024.
