  The Cape of Good Hope SPCA, alongside the City of Cape Town Law Enforcement Animal Control Unit, raided a property in Ottery on Wednesday armed with a warrant issued by the Wynberg Magistrates Court, exposing a dogfighting ring.   Five dogs were seized, two of whom were covered with scars as a result of dog fighting.     A 15-year-old boy has been sentenced to spend the next few years of his life behind bars, for the murder of a teen girl in Kleinvlei in 2023.   Western Cape police spokesperson, Wesley Twigg, says the tragic incident took place on 17 July that year – when 14-year-old Naeema Marshall was visiting her aunt in Kleinvlei, Eerste River. She is said to have been approached by the 15-year-old when she went to
