  The City of Cape Town is set to fully transition to paperless billing by the end of 2025, with all municipal accounts moving to email delivery.   This initiative, which has been in progress for several years, currently sees over 430,000 accounts delivered electronically.   However, from 1 January 2026, the City will cease sending printed bills via the South African Postal Service.   Residents who have not yet signed up for emailed bills
