  The City is gearing up to host the 47th Cape Town Cycle Tour this Sunday, with some road closures already in place.   Approximately 30 000 cyclists will be tackling three routes, including the traditional 109km route from the Grand Parade circling the Cape Peninsula on Sunday, 9 March 2025.   The 78km Invitational Women’s Race and the U17 Boys Race will take off from Fish Hoek and finish in Green Point.   For

    The City of Cape Town is pursuing legal action after two law enforcement officers were taken hostage during a protest at the Cape Town Station Deck.   As the deadline looms for social grant beneficiaries to migrate to the Postbank black cards, the MEC of Social Development Jaco Londt says his Department will do everything possible to ensure no beneficiary is left behind.   Londt met with Postbank on Monday to discuss the lack of service points and adequate communication in the province.
