    Western Cape police have confirmed that the body of a 24-year-old woman from Rawsonville, who was swept away by a swollen river in Slanghoek on Saturday, has been found.   Spokesperson Frederick Van Wyk say the woman, whom he has identified as Julian van Wyk, was crossing a low-water bridge with her 19-year-old sister around 14:15.   A police investigation has been launched following a shocking incident in the Cape Town CBD on Monday afternoon, where it appears a man jumped to his death from the rooftop of Hotel Sky on Lower Long Street.   Police spokesperson Captain F.C.   The recent outbreak of foot and mouth disease (FMD), which has been affecting South Africa’s meat industry, has now been detected in five of the nine provinces.
