It’s been so exciting listening to all the wonderful stories of all our matriculants for the year of 2018. Many have overcome great adversity but have still managed to make it right to the end. It would seem the positive messages from all tourism stakeholders in Cape Town, that the drought has lifted, has paid off. Cape Town International Airport has reported a bumper tourism season, and latest figures show international passenger numbers at the airport actually grew by 9,6% in 2018. 2,6 million international passengers were recorded by airport officials, mostly coming from long-haul carriers from outside the Southern African region. Overall passenger numbers grew from 10 693 063

Cape Town hiker and resident, Andrew Patterson, has finally completed his 365th hike of Table Mountain. Patterson committed to climb Table Mountain every day since January 1st 2018, not missing one day. The method in his madness (as some would say) was all in aid of raising funds for 3 non-profit organizations; Habitat for Humanity, One Heart for Kids and The Sunflower Fund.
