The City of Cape Town has welcomed the start of the New Woodlands housing project in the Mitchells Plain area which will provide 440 Breaking New Ground (BNG) housing opportunities to Kosovo informal settlement residents and New Woodlands backyarders. I often talk about the quick pace of technology, but it’s crucial that we try and keep up with it, especially the ones that are likely to impact our lives. For example, digital interface is something that started out very excitedly, with Virtual Reality (VR). Over the past few years, VR slowly became old hat, as Augmented Reality and most recently, Mixed Reality took over. So what’s next? It’s called Extended Reality … or XR.
