A Grassy Park woman initially charged for the abandonment of a newborn baby is now facing a murder charge. 31-year-old Ireesha Francis appeared in the Wynberg Magistrates Court on Tuesday. National Coloured Congress leader and MP Fadiel Adams was arrested on Tuesday afternoon at his house at the Parliamentary Village in Cape Town, hours after the Police’s Political Killings Task Team (PKTT) called on him to present himself at his nearest police station in connection with a case of fraud and defeating and or obstructing the course of justice.
