Best Practices Initiative To Boost Tourist Numbers

The Department of Tourism says the Best Practice initiative, will ensure more uniform tourism service- and grading levels among African countries, which will help boost tourism numbers to the continent.

Deputy Tourism Minister, Fish Mahlalela, this week met with tourism ministers from other African countries, after the recent signing a Memorandum of Understanding, to fast-track the implementation of the initiative.

Minister Mahlalela says the private sector plays a pivotal role in helping all tourism-operators, including Government, to reach these set service goals.
