BBC reports that the first Americans to receive a Covid-19 vaccine could get it as soon as 11 December this year. The vaccine, developed by Pfizer, requires two doses, and has been shown to be 9% effective. Pfizer hopes to produce up to 50-million doses of the vaccine, by the end of the year.
