Aspen Pharmacare will today release additional Johnson & Johnson covid-19 vaccine doses to South Africa.

The Aspen facility in the Eastern Cape “filled and finished” the doses with the active drug ingredients, imported from Europe.

Aspen, in a press release, did not say how many doses will be released today but the Department of Health last week said the country could expect up to 1.4-million Johnson & Johnson doses this week.
