Another lady visits Cape Town, in another history-making moment.
The passenger ship, Resilient Lady will stop over in Cape Town harbour for the first time, on Wednesday 17 April, following hot on the heels of the Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria luxury passenger vessels, which docked here on Friday and left within 2 days of docking here.
Another lady visits Cape Town
What makes the Resilient Lady’s visit special is, that it’s her first visit to the Cape of Good Hope.
This is due, to the instability in the Red Sea region. The ship belongs to Virgin Voyages and can carry up to 2 700 passengers.
Dense Fog
It should drop anchor at the port, soon. She was delayed earlier, due to dense fog. She sailed here from Durban and is expected to leave for Barcelona later Wednesday.
But this morning (Thursday) she was still spotted at the Cape Town Cruise Terminal, as early morning motorists drove into the CBD.

The ship is a Holland America Line vessel.
