Another interesting vessel has docked

Another interesting vessel docked at the harbour in Cape Town today. According to a report, it is here to pick up provisions and rotate the crew.

Vincent Dessale, the Chief Operations Officer and Senior EVP at Nexans, says, ”This new vessel will be the most technologically advanced cable layer ever deployed.”

The Nexans Aurora has also been described as a world leader in cable system design as well as in manufacturing services.

 

Dessale added, “Fitted with a range of high-tech cable installation and burial equipment, it will enhance the capabilities of our subsea cable operations to tackle projects on an unprecedented scale.”
