An alleged underworld boss has been arrested in Cape Town in connection with the murder of Western Cape Anti-Gang Unit detective, Charl Kinnear.

The move by the police comes nearly 8 months after the veteran policeman was gunned down near his home in Bishop Lavis. Three other people were arrested and all four suspects are expected to appear in the court on Monday. They face charges of conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, extortion and kidnapping.
