Brackenfell Police have registered a culpable homicide case following an accident that claimed the lives of four people over the weekend. Two other people were injured in the crash. The accident occurred at 6 pm on Saturday, 2 August, on Cecil Morgan Drive in Brackenfell.

Captain F.C. Van Wyk says the car with the 6 occupants had collided with a tree in Cecil Morgan Drive. He says four people were declared deceased on the scene, and two others were taken to the hospital in a critical condition.

Weekend crash: Four people killed

 

The Police say the circumstances surrounding this accident are under investigation. At the same time, officers have called on people who witnessed the accident on Saturday, on Cecil Morgan Drive, to contact them.
