Don’t forget there’s also a showcase for lovingly restored and maintained classic vehicles. Between 8 000 and 12 000 people have visited the show annually since inception, excluding the Covid-19 pandemic. The show also features new models, classic cars and motorcycles, custom and stance cars, marque clubs, vintage tractors, off-road vehicles and racing vehicles.
The Western Cape’s biggest motor show
For those who arrive hungry, there are several hundred vendors supplying food and beverages of all kinds (including halaal). But your vehicle might also need something to fill its belly. For that, there will be automotive accessories, tools, lubricants, memorabilia, books and periodicals, clothing, crash helmets and motorsport equipment for sale.

The 9th Killarney Motor Show
There’s also free on-site parking. If you want to avoid the queues, you can pre-purchase your tickets online, park at Bayside Mall in nearby Table View and catch the free MyCiTi Shuttle to the show. MyCiTi shuttle riders are eligible for a special prize!
Breathtaking high-intensity stunt
For those wanting to shake their hips or just enjoy music, there will be live music. Look out for several sound stages. There will also be an Aerial Performance over the Main Straight, Drum Majorettes and Pom-Pom Girls, the Du Noon Cultural Dance Group and the amazing drill squad of the Voorbrug Hindle Cadets to give the Show an unmistakeably Cape Town flavour! Don’t miss the BMX and Skate Jams, Ramp Rodeo, rides on vintage tractors, a fun-fair with rides for children and adults, radio-controlled model car racers, breathtaking high-intensity stunts and even a (non-compulsory) snake show.
Set your inner child free
For the brave at heart, you can catch a ride, at a cost, in a drift car. For those interested in the aerial view, a helicopter will be on standby to assist. But don’t forget there’s also a one-kilometre karting circuit, where you can get into a kart and race to your heart’s content.
Free on-site parking
The ninth edition of the Killarney Motor Show is powered by the City of Cape Town and Smile 90.4 FM at Killarney International Raceway. Killarney is known as the home of motorsport in the province.
