President Cyril Ramaphosa says African countries have boosted their collaboration, over the past year, to address the increases in inequalities and injustices that were brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Ramaphosa participated in an informal United Nations leaders meeting yesterday, hosted by the UN Secretary-General António Guterres.
He says the vaccine-nationalism, demonstrated by some developed nations, adds to the inequalities that developing countries have to face on a daily basis.
The President says the collaborations aided in boosting the healthcare systems of African countries.
