Additional Covid-19 doses now available for adults with certain conditions that weaken their immune systems

Adults in South Africa with certain conditions that weaken their immune systems, or those who are on certain treatments, can now access an additional COVID-19 vaccine dose.

A form which has been published by the Department of Health can now be downloaded, which will then have to be filled out by a doctor or a nurse.

Individuals will need to register on the EVDS for the additional dose and take the form with them to the vaccination site.
