A teenager was shot dead in Cloetesville. Stellenbosch Police are probing a murder case following the death of the youngster yesterday, in Lang Street.

Sergeant Wesley Twigg says officers were called out to the crime scene and discovered the 15-year-old victim with gunshot wounds to his body. He says the teenager was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel.

Motive unclear

 

At the same time, Twigg said the motive will be established during the investigation. It’s also unclear how many perpetrators were involved. The Cloetesville community is reeling after the murder, following the teenager’s death.
