A police station in Kleinvlei, Cape Town, has come under fire. According to the Police, unidentified assailants opened fire on the building just before midnight last night.

The Police’s Colonel Andrè Traut says shots were fired from within a charcoal-coloured VW Polo. He says no injuries were reported. The incident, however, resulted in structural damage to the facility.

The Hawks are investigating the police station incident

 

At the same time, he confirmed that the case has been handed over to the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI). He says further enquiries will be handled by their communications office.
