A full bench of judges in the Cape Town High Court rejected the Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s application, to halt the process of having her removed from her position. Parliament in December last year, adopted new rules on how the Public Protector may be removed from her office. Mkhwebane approached the court to stop this process, but the application has been rejected with costs, earlier today.
