A few hurdles still need to be bypassed before an Action-SA-DA coalition agreement is set to be announced, but all indications point towards the two parties finding each other and firmly shutting the door on the ANC retaining control in Johannesburg and the Tshwane metro.

According to News24, the main stumbling block hindering a formal coalition agreement between the two parties is working out the broad basket of agreements that would be in place should ActionSA agree to work with the DA.
