W.H.O. donates 120-million covid-19 tests to low and middle-income countries

The World Health Organization says it will now make available 120-million high-quality COVID-19 antigen rapid tests, to low and middle-income countries.

The tests will cost a mere US$5, or around R85, and is aimed to boost the quicker and more widespread testing for covid-19 infection.

The Director General at the WHO, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, says to boost covid-19 testing globally, similar initiatives will be introduced to other countries across the World.
