The umbrella-organization for wine-producers, Wines of South Africa, says the country’s wine industry is seeing a slow, but gradual recovery after the recent lift of the ban on the sales and export of wines.
The industry has seen itself come to a complete standstill, twice, after the local-sales and export of alcohol was prohibited under levels 5, 4 and 3 of the lockdown.
