Dams supplying the Mother City with water, have risen to 88% capacity.

This is a 4% increase, from the 84% percent recorded last week. In the same time last year, dam levels stood at 81,7%.

Mayoral committee Member for the Directorate: Water and Waste, Xanthea Limberg, says the recent rainfall and the sustained reduction in water-usage by Capetonians, contributed to these favourable dam-levels.
