TWIN S.A.P.S. CAPTAINS BID FAREWELL AFTER 33 YEARS IN SERVICE

Published on

After serving an incredible 33 years in the South African Police Service, twins Laurentius and Bouwer Schoonwinkel (53), recently received a hero’s farewell by their former colleagues at the Khayelitsha Police station. The brothers who are avid long-distance-runners and adventurers, recently decided to step down from their duties as captains due to personal reasons.

The pair will however not stop doing good as their next mission is to take on fundraising walks for charities.

One of the twins, Laurentius says it was both fun and challenging to work alongside his brother all these years, and they are looking forward towards the next chapter of their lives.
