A 21-year-old rugby player has been killed in Kraaifontein — Kraaifontein SAPS

A 21-year-old rugby player has been killed, at the weekend in Kraaifontein. The victim has been identified by the media as Andre Brandon Rhode. It’s believed that Rhode was fatally stabbed in an attack by two men on Neville Crescent in Scottsdene on Saturday morning.

Young rugby player has been killed

According to reports there was a scuffle, which Rhode had apparently tried to stop, at the time of the incident. Police are probing the circumstances which led to his death. Two men have been arrested and are being charged for his murder.

Tributes pouring in for young rugby player

It’s not clear, at this stage, when they will appear in court. Meanwhile, tributes are pouring in from the Kraaifontein community following Rhode’s death.
